About the event
This Summer, we will kick off our inaugural company season with a grassroots outdoor tour to share our CoCA Movement & Process Workshops to communities throughout the New Jersey and tristate area. These events will invite audience members to dance with the company in a CoCA Movement class, as well as participate in our open process showings: live work-in-process performances hosted outdoors by CoCA that immerse audiences into the art-making process. Our CoCA workshops will also feature live music, individual service offerings by company artists, merchandise, and opportunities to connect as a community of movers and dance enthusiasts. All levels of movers are welcome and encouraged to participate.
*You will need
Comfortable clothes to move in and sneakers to dance in (we will be outdoors on concrete.) Also, pack a snack and water if you need it. Total workshop time is 2 hours. Please bring a yoga mat or folding chair if you need to sit as there is limited seating available at the market.Â
